Wise Men’s Day – January 6, 2026, 9:00-16:30 – Grefsenkollen Restaurant
What happens when organizations develop forces that inhibit rather than promote human growth?
This year’s winter seminar takes as its starting point Henrik Ibsen’s Hedda Gabler and uses the play as a lens to examine how themes such as meaninglessness, being stuck, and internal conflicts can arise as destructive patterns in organizations.
Hedda Gabler’s complexity as a character is a starting point for reflections on how you as a leader can recognize and handle various destructive dynamics, and at the same time build the power of change and meaning. As a participant, the seminar will give you the opportunity to recognize and understand the subtle mechanisms that inhibit motivation and change, and insight into how you can create space for meaning, responsibility and renewal.
As an extension of the seminar, we invite all participants to the staging of Hedda Gabler at the Opera on February 10th at 7 pm. The performance is included in the seminar fee.
As always, the Winter Seminar takes place in the fantastic surroundings of Grefsenkollen, on the Day of the Wise Men, January 6. A small part of the seminar will take place outdoors, so everyone is advised to bring warm clothes.
The seminar fee is NOK 5900 and includes a 2-course lunch and opera ticket. There are limited places, so it is first come, first served.
We look forward to seeing you on January 6th!
